The Design Consultation Process
The design process typically starts with our professional design team asking you a few basic questions about your space and practice needs.
Will this green be used for putting and chipping only or for longer shots?
How much space is available for the green and chipping/hitting mats?
Are there specific characteristics that you desire for your putting green?
Are you interested in additional amenities like sand bunkers, grass bunkers, or mounds?
Will this putting green be part of a bigger landscaping project requiring hardscape, water features, trees and shrubs, etc?
Once we receive your input and understand your goals, we will start the design process.
Integrated Designs
Our team can work with you and your landscaping company to integrate your putting green into its environment. Whether you want a poolside green for family fun or you want to blend some green in with more natural surroundings, our team can help.
Multiple Cuts
Tour Greens putting greens can be designed and built with multiple cuts of turf for practicing all types of putts and chips. Many greens will feature a putting surface, a first cut fringe and then another artificial grass to simulate the rough.
Putting Green Amenities
In addition to building your green with a variety of fringes and hole locations, we will often surround greens with sand or turf bunkers and a variety of hitting mats for one to practice virtually every shot in his/her short game.
